Paleo Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

breakfast dairy-free desserts gluten-free grain-free paleo Jun 25, 2022

What do  you do when you have a bunch of super-ripe bananas sitting on your counter?

Make BANANA BREAD!

But not any old banana bread will do.

Chocolate. It must have chocolate.

This recipe comes together very quickly and is sweetened with just the ripe bananas. Yes, you read that right, there’s no added sugar in this recipe!

This recipe is grain-free and dairy-free, so it’s perfect if you follow a Paleo, Ancestral, or Keto style diet. It’s also great for pretty much everyone!

Every ingredient (even the chocolate chips) is jam-packed full of nutrition. Plus, you can customize this recipe by adding in other flavors, such as almond extract, orange zest, or nutmeg, or add in your favorite raw, chopped nuts.

Now let’s talk chocolate. We LOVE chocolate! (we could pretty much drop the mic and be done with this blog post but we feel we must go on).

Our choice for chocolate is Hu dark chocolate baking gems or their new chocolate chips. Of course, you can use whatever chocolate you like. We love the flavor of the Hu chocolate products and the fact that they are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and free of added sugar.

If you don’t have mini loaf pans, don’t worry. You can also make this recipe in an 8×8-inch glass baking dish or as muffins (regular or mini). You’ll just have to adjust the cooking time accordingly. If you bake it in a square baking dish, the cooking time should be about the same. If you bake them into muffins, the cooking time will be less, about 16-18 minutes for regular size muffins and 14 minutes for mini muffins.

We just happen to have these really great oval mini loaf pans that we just love. Again, use what you have.

This recipe is a slam dunk. Everyone will love it!

Please let us know what you think and if you make it, please post a pic of it on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and #URockGirl.

Enjoy!
